Guild of Dungeoneering is out, and it's been pretty successful! My contract just finished too so I thought it was a good time to leave and get on with some personal stuff; I don't really feel like working on the expansion and there's a whole lot of other coding stuff I do want to work on. It's been good fun working with Gambrinous though and we parted on good terms!
The plan is-
- Do every game jam
- Finish SpaceHesit
- Learn some stuff I have left out a bit: networking, neural networks
- Get more familiar with C and Unity. I'm a big fan of Java but I want to keep my options open
- Look for jobs on Twitter
- Try to find an opportunity to teach kids programming
- Maybe make another bigger game?
- Come closer to running out of money and look for jobs properly
Might be a bad plan, should be a fun plan, we'll see!
