Teaching kids

I've taught a couple of groups of kids now. It was 6 the first time and 8 this time. I don't think I could do more than 8, it's pretty exhausting! It's been an interesting experiment, trying to teach kids a tiny bit of programming without relying on visual programming languages. I think I'll carry on for a bit and maybe try it on some kids older than 8 to see where it takes me.

I've got an opportunity to teach some year 8/9 kids to code, I've wanted to try this for a while. It's going to be interesting, I don't know if I'm making it too complicated or too simple yet. In any case, they need to know the magic runes!
